Trial by Fire

Trial by Fire is a print & play Roguelike Dungeon-Crawling game for 1 to 99 players. You only need a pen and a quest sheet to play. You must explore a deadly dungeon, battling monsters, collecting treasures, and survive until you reach the exit.

The game features 72 carefully crafted quests, divided into 3 compact books of 24 quests each, small enough to fit in your pocket!
In an upcoming update, the game features 180 quests, two massive maps, and a Dungeon to explore.

The game is a simple but entertaining game. Each round, you use Action Points to move your character, attack enemies, collect treasures, and more.

Play as a barbarian, thief or wizard, each with their own ability and inventory starting value. Choose wisely, your choice will affect the game difficulty.

Print & Play Game

The game uses a print & play format. All you need is a printer and a pen. Anyone can play!

Each Quest is on a single page and come in two formats: 

• Mini-Book version:  There are 4 quests on each page. Use a scissor to separate them and then staple the pages to obtain a mini-book. At the start of the campaign, they have 24 quests by books, including the rules, this corresponds to print 7 pages.
• Single page version: This is a reference sheet that you can view on digital devices or print to play.

This format isn't just about having grouped 4 quests on one page, the layout change between the mini-book version and the single page version to be more readable when it is print smaller.

In addition to being in two different formats, each quest is available in Color, in Monochrome, and, in letter US and in A4 print format.
